Pieter de Wet
Profile
Part of his studies included political sciences, and soon after he was admitted as an attorney of the High Court, he also became actively involved in local government matters. At the age of 32, he was elected as probably the youngest mayor ever of the City of Roodepoort.
After the establishment of the Greater Johannesburg Metropolitan Council, he served as a member of the executive committee of the Greater Johannesburg Metropolitan Council where he gained valuable experience not only in business and managerial skills, but also local government law.
Pieter heads up the commercial and financial divisions of the firm, and over a period of four decades he has been involved in multiple facets of property development including commercial developments such the Clearwater Regional Shopping Centre, Westgate Regional Shopping Centre, development of the Makro (Strubensvalley) Retail node as well as various other commercial and industrial property developments. In addition hereto, he has also been involved in the development of various golf estates and residential property developments ranging from freestanding residential developments to high density residential ventures.
Pieter is passionate about drafting commercial contracts and has extensive experience in High Court and Magistrates’ Court litigation, involving a wide variety of legal fields.
He has served for several years and is currently still serving as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court.
He has a keen interest in sport, particularly rugby and golf, and each year he hunts in the Karoo to ensure an adequate supply of biltong to share with friends and family.
He is also a lover of art and has painted various landscapes himself.

Stef Grobbelaar
Profile
Stef was admitted as an attorney in 1993 and has practiced since then. He obtained B.Com and LL.B degrees from the University of Pretoria and the University of South Africa respectively. He has the right to appear in the High Court and has done so on many occasions on behalf of clients.
As an Associate in the firm, he assists in the commercial and litigation divisions of the Practice, and has extensive experience in High Court and Magistrates’ Court litigation.
Stef has also served as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court for several years.
He is an avid cyclist and general lover of all sport and served as president of the Krugersdorp Golf Club for six years. He was elected as a life member of the golf club in 2016.

The professional relationship between Pieter and Glen dates back to 1978 when the two of them worked together as articled clerks, and they subsequently qualified as practising Attorneys. Noreen Lombaard
Profile
Noreen is a qualified Bookkeeper by profession, and by virtue of her practical experience and accounting background, she assists in the Estates Administration Department of the Practice, where she liaises on a continuous basis with the various Offices of the Master of the High Court, the Banks, Insurance companies as well as Pension and Provident Funds.
The principal objective of the work that she renders in terms of the Administration of Estates Act is to complete the winding-up process as soon as possible, which is achieved when the Liquidation and Distribution Account that is prepared in the particular deceased estate, is approved by the Master of the High Court, at which stage the distribution of assets in the particular estate can be effected, together with payment of all relevant legacies and/or benefits, and payment of the claims of creditors in the particular deceased estate can be attended to.
